Hi. I'm Anca
I was born in Bucharest, Romania in 1985 and pursued my studies in Product Design at the University of Arts in Bucharest, followed by further specialization at the University of Wolverhampton, UK.
My professional collaborations span several prestigious brands, including Roche Bobois Romania for the Anniversary of 50 years of Mahjong, Intro Design, Intel Romania, Ubikubi, Save the Children Romania, Hansen, and Avon Cosmetics.
My work has been exhibited at renowned design events in Milan, London, Stockholm, Kortrijk, Graz, Brussels, Vienna, Bucharest and Cluj.
My vision
We live in a time of acceleration — visually saturated, materially abundant, yet often emotionally undernourished.
I believe what we long for most is not more objects, but more presence. More softness. More emotional steadiness.
My work emerges from this need.
I create pieces that are not meant to dominate a space, but to inhabit it gently. Objects that hold a quiet warmth. That feel like companions rather than commodities. That invite a pause, a breath, a small moment of reconnection.
In the hospitality industry especially, spaces are beginning to shift — from spectacle to sensitivity, from luxury alone to emotional resonance.
I see my work as part of this shift.
The craft
All my designs are produced in Brasov, Romania.
I personally work on every item, from initial clay modelling, to the final product. My collaborators are also local, so each custom element is built here, In Brasov.
